You will look at the transition of data to information to gain a better understanding of how information can be utilized to assist with the next step: transitioning or managing the transition of information to knowledge. A successful transition of data to information that can be utilized for effective decision-making is paramount for the managers of successful projects and companies.
After reading the assigned resources this week, please utilize other academic sources of your choice, select five articles about the importance of data management, information management, information storage, and information sharing and then prepare a 1- to 2-page summary of each article. No article can be more than three years old. In your write-up, please compare and contrast information management themes with the assigned readings.
