Storage Building Shell Budget Estimation Project

Now that you understand project scope of work, estimated project schedule, and key milestones, it is time to come up with project resources, budget estimation, and different responsibilities for the resources. Based on the same project from Unit 2, using the MS Project file, add project resources into the Project file. The estimated budget for different resources should be added to the Project file as well.
Using the MS Project file you developed in Units 1 and 2, think of all of the different project resources (costs, materials, work) for all of the tasks and subtasks in your file.
Assign human resources to the tasks in your chosen project. Those can be entered in the main summary sheet (see Example 1 below). Remember, use job titles and roles for the resources rather than names. For example, potential human resources could be programmers, electricians, and carpenters.
If you are using the IT project scenario, you will need workers to add the software to the computers. You will also need people to perform all of the other tasks in the project.
If you are using the construction project scenario, you will need workers to frame the building. Other workers will conduct the other tasks.
Now that you have thought about all of the resources needed for the tasks, assign these resources (costs, materials, work) to all of the tasks in your project. Enter those in the Resource sheet in your MS Project file (see Example 2 below).
Using the example provided in the Discussion Board this week and your discussions there, create a RASCI (responsible, accountable, supportive, consulted, and informed) matrix for your chosen project, and submit in a Word document or as a PDF file.
Submit the revised Key Assignment saved as a Unit 3 file in the file type noted by your instructor.
