Major Assignment 1: The Revision
Review the feedback you received from Major Assignment #1 submitted in week 4. Revise according to any issue indicated and submit it as the week 8 assignment deliverable. If you earned a perfect score in week 4, you must still resubmit your paper to receive a grade. First, revise your work according to feedback in week 4, if any. Next, add the social change heading and content if you did not add it in week 4. This week, you will justify your topic by exploring its social change value – why should you do this research study and why should anyone care? This will be one, focused and substantive paragraph. Be sure to cite this section by using sources that imply the social change benefit that you believe might arise from your proposed research. Remember – all sections of a research proposal should be supported by the literature and cited, not just your opinion. It must all be justified.
Then, compile everything into one document – the week 4 paper, this week’s social change addition, and the bibliography. ALL work must include the required headings and subheadings, as indicated in the week 4 announcement (and the week 2 announcement regarding the bibliography) or will be returned ungraded

IMPORTANT: an annotated bibliography is not the same thing as a references list. See the prior announcement in week 2 regarding how to create the bibliography and what subheadings to use for it. Include your updated references list at the end of the paper, as well.

Week 4 Assignment
Please pay closer attention to the order of the headings, as they represent the logical and expected order of the content. This paper does not represent a logically organized research proposal. Here are a few other considerations for revision before this is resubmitted in week 8:
PARAGRAPHS – Be sure to check your paragraph structure so that you have at least four substantive sentences per paragraph. This is a requirement for the discussion forum posts and for the papers.
CITATIONS – All sections must contain scholarly support and be cited (except the RQ section)
SUBSTANCE – Give additional consideration to how you can explore a concept n more detail rather than a basic, general overview. My role is to assess your comprehension and critical thinking related to the course topics. I can only grade what you have written – the less depth you provide, then the less I have to work with.
