Consider the rather large cast of characters we meet in this play and the events that make up the plot.
Characters: Lear, Cornelia, Goneril, the Duke of Albany, Regan, the Duke of Cornwall, Edmund, Edgar, the Duke of Gloucester, Oswald, Kent, and the fool
