Executive Summary
The Center for Child-Safe Divorce (CCSD) is an alliance of like-minded individuals who have
come together to help protect children against the consequences and outcomes of divorces.
Statistical reports have shown millions of children are suffering the psychological, emotional,
and physical effects of divorce, getting lost in its chaos and divorce-related conflict. In this
calling, CCSD has provided a strategic solution for protecting children. The non-profit public
organization’s primary objective is to serve as a strategic visionary through assembling a network
of 1000 professionals, each representing a state, including clergy, family therapists, attorneys,
and financial planners, to aid individuals undergoing divorces, with a keen focus on children’s
welfare and wellness. The organization’s current marketing strategy targets professionals and
individuals navigating divorce, leveraging emerging trends in divorce support services while
emphasizing its unique mission and approach. CCSD uses social media platforms, including
Facebook, LinkedIn, Twitter, and YouTube, to engage with its target audience and foster public
engagement and advocacy.

Introduction
This report is intended to provide insight into the current operation and mandate of the
Center for Child-Safe Divorce. The report will provide details of the organization’s operation, its
intended purpose, and the recommended contribution toward advocating for child-safe divorce.
The rate of divorce has tremendously escalated over the past century. According to a
statistic by Spremo (2020), divorce and life in a one-parent family have become increasingly
common, with more than 74,000 children in the United States becoming “children of divorce” as
of the 2020 report. From 2000 to 2010, the divorce rate increased fivefold, with a statistical rate
of 25.5 divorces per 1000 families in the United States. However, since 2019, the rate has slowly
decreased to 15.5 divorces per 1000 families (Zhang, 2020). The impact of divorce on children is
widely evidenced, reported in every social science literature and report from child welfare
organizations and family laws. Children of divorce are more likely to develop deviant behavior,
with an 8% lower probability of completing high school, a 12% lower probability of attending
college, and even an 11% lower probability of completing higher education (Miralles et al.,
2023).
A great deal of research has been done on the effects, causes, and impact of divorce on
children during and after the divorce. Therefore, it is unsurprising that the social sciences have
positively impacted this area of the law, which has been a key focal point for non-profit and
profit-seeking organizations seeking data on divorce and its outcomes for children. Since the
beginning of 2000, the welfare of children has become the central focus of family divorce laws
and social charity organizations (Hoseini Yazdi et al., 2021). As a society, we have witnessed an
emphasis on the need to protect children during divorce, considering numerous accounts of how
detrimental the outcome of divorce is to children’s development and welfare. Statistical reports
4
have shown that children whose parents have divorced are more likely to experience physical
abuse, injury, accidents, and illness. The psychological and emotional strain on children was
high during the divorce process, with young children reporting cases of suicidal ideation and
posttraumatic stress disorder, which manifest throughout their childhood and into adulthood. All
these dangers affect children of divorce, and a rapid response has been directed by social
welfare, family laws, and organizations to help protect young children against the effects and
dangers of divorce. Therefore, this is where the organization steps in to provide a new
perspective on advocating for and protecting children from divorce.
Objectives:
The objective of this report is to:
1. Conduct an evaluation of the current family counseling industry to help understand some
strengths, weaknesses, opportunities, and threats our organization will face in advocating
and promoting child-safe divorce.
2. Investigate the impact and mechanism of our media campaign strategy towards
promoting awareness and educating the public on child-safe divorce, along with its
overreaching goals and outcomes in the family counseling industry.
3. Explain the current divorce setting, identifying the organization’s key role in
accomplishing its vision and mission goals in safeguarding the welfare of children.
4. Establish new and reinforce existing agendas and programs on promoting the protection
of children from divorce, with the aid of the government and other agencies.

Industrial Analysis
Company profile and background
The Center for Child-Safe Divorce is a global online resource dedicated to shielding
children from the chaos of divorce-related conflict. Founded in 2016, we received 501c3 tax
exemption status in only 3 months from the date of application. We have multiple initiatives in
our vision: Heavy media campaigns using social media, print media, and outdoor media to share
the impactful ads we created that all help parents learn that “Kids Don’t Belong in the Crossfire.”
We have events planned, including “National Co-Parents Day,” and aim to get proclamations at
local, regional, state, and federal levels declaring National Co-Parents Day. We will have an
online directory of “heart-centered professionals” called our “Enlightened Professional Alliance”
or “Love Before Law Professional Alliance,” which is a resource for parents to find online. We
aim to be the one-stop shop for parents seeking support to help minimize conflict during and
after divorce and keep kids out of the crossfire. Founder Stu Weintraub spoke at TEDx San
Diego in June 2023 and delivered an impactful talk: “The True Costs of Divorce.” CCSD aims to
raise funds and partner with a leading university to commission the first-ever “True Costs of
Divorce” study of the social and emotional impact and measure the societal “costs” of divorce on
children, families, communities, companies, and society.
WHO WE ARE The Center for Child-Safe Divorce (CCSD) is an alliance of like-minded

of parents, professionals, politicians, clergy, and corporations, CCSD is a 501(c)(3) non-profit
public benefit organization that seeks global change by raising awareness via bold and

Segmentation, Target, and Positioning Analysis (STP)
Segmentation
Center for Child-Safe Divorce segmentation involves the people they are engaged within
their daily operations. As a non-profit public organization, the segmentation is diverse and large.
In terms of demographics, CCSD provides its service to all ethnic communities without
discrimination. The organization offers support for minority groups, including young children
from low-income backgrounds, children with disabilities or disabled households, and households
with substance and mental health issues. This vulnerable and marginalized group is being
targeted as a priority due to the impact children from such families experience during divorce. In
terms of psychographics, the organization’s target audience is people who value families and
children and support the welfare of children. Its members hold a strong belief in putting the
needs of children first and supporting them through the divorce experience to minimize the pain,
suffering, and harm that come with the process. The target audience’s behavior includes wellwishers, donors, philanthropists, humanitarians, and people drawn towards helping and
supporting charity work, welfare groups, and improving children’s wellness.
Target
The organization’s primary target group is children and parents undergoing divorce. This
group is considered the first beneficiary of the organization. Children of divorce are protected
from any harm during the process, and parents, guardians, and caregivers are also supported
12
through the divorce proceedings. Secondary target groups include educators, social workers,
donors, volunteers, and community members. This group is engaged in supporting the objectives
and mission values of the organization towards advocacy and protecting children. They help
reinforce child welfare initiatives by engaging positively with the organization’s mission and
supporting its cause.
Positioning
The Center for Child-Safe Divorce has positioned itself as a non-profit public
organization, a reliable and trusted organization that champions child protection and welfare. The
organization emphasized transparency and active presence in engaging with the community,
which gives it a strong head-start when handling issues surrounding child divorce initiatives,
including campaigns and referral programs as well as workshops and summits. CCSD can
differentiate itself from other non-profit organizations through its marketing and advocacy
strategy, which allows it to engage with professionals and individuals navigating divorces and
incorporate divorce support services as part of its unique organization’s mission and approach.
Marketing Strategies, Outreach Programs, and Recommendations
Social media marketing is one of the greatest tools used by CCSD for advocacy campaigns and
education. The organization has developed a strong social media presence on all the social
platforms: Facebook, Twitter, LinkedIn, and YouTube. Each social media platform offers a
unique feature that allows it to reach its target audience, create awareness, and engage with the
community. The use of social media platforms is to effectively raise awareness, provide support,
and promote positive outcomes for children experiencing divorce.
