Select a respiratory disease and research it using the textbook and two other reliable
sources.
Write a 2-3 page (minimum) paper that meets the specifications listed below. Note that
papers that do not meet the required minimum length will not receive full points.
Specifications
1. Your paper should include the following elements:
Etiology/pathogenesis of the disease
Brief description of normal function
Signs/symptoms indicating abnormalities
Radiographic appearance of this disease
Diagnostic tests and measures used
Options for treatment/interventions
Description of the way lifestyle habits can hinder or help this disease
2. Cite (in APA format) at least three resources you used to find information for your
paper.
3. Include at least one image or graphic that represents a topic covered in the paper.
4. Use language appropriate for the target audience you are addressing.
Writing Mechanics
Use a 12-point font.
Follow APA writing guidelines.
Proofread and correct all errors in capitalization, punctuation, grammar, and spelling.
