Identify and describe 2 key aspects of trauma or chronic traumatic stress that you learned about in the resources and how they impact the human brain and/or functioning.
Discuss the significance of the ACE study regarding chronic conditions and its implications for the population you serve. 
Based on the material you have reviewed identify a client or someone you know who has been impacted by trauma or chronic traumatic stress and describe the results. Based on the material, provide a brief assessment of how the events they have experienced have impacted their life or current behavior.
Discuss how the information you learned affects how social workers should approach treatment of mental health or substance abuse conditions differently. Give an example of how you would approach engagement, assessment and treatment planning with a client with trauma.
Discuss how you can address trauma and victimization while empowering people to move beyond victimhood.
