Read chapter 13: Fiscal Policy, Deficits, and Debt.
Write the research paper 5-6 pages long minimum excluding the Title and the Bibliography pages. Paper should include and discuss the following matters:
CHOICE 1:
1.  Describe the fiscal policy (1 – 2 pages) (textbook).
2.  Discuss how the U.S. Government used fiscal policy to solve the economic crisis during and after the Great Recession of 2007-2009. You should use at least 2 sources of information independent of the textbook (Internet, journals, magazines, newspapers) (2 pages).
3.  Discuss how the President Trump new fiscal policy can affect you or people whom you know. (1-2 pages).
CHOICE 2:
1.  Describe the fiscal policy (1 – 2 pages) (textbook).
2.  Discuss the problem of the Social Security and Medicare shortfalls and existing options to solve them (2 pages) (textbook and at least 2 other sources).
3.  Formulate your personal opinion about the best option/options that the Government should select to resolve this problem (1-2 pages)
You should submit this research paper during the week 10 of the trimester.
The paper should be typed. Use the MLA format. To learn about MLA format check this site: http://mlaformat.org/ . All used sources should be named.
The final paper will give you 20% of your Final Grade. You should use for your research at least 3 sources including the textbook.
Your paper should consist of three parts. Every part’s maximum score is 30 points. The paper grade will be decreased by 30 points for any part of the paper absent. 10 points will be given for the paper format and presentation.
