The prompt (topic) for the cause OR effect essay is turning points. When thinking about the causes of an important decision or event in life, one may discover that those causes are linked to effects that, in turn, lead to more causes and effects. This is similar to the plot of a story.

After choosing a topic for the cause or effect essay, follow the eight steps of the writing process, including prewriting, focusing, organizing, and outlining and drafting, revising, editing, and proofreading the essay before submitting it to the instructor for evaluation.

Format Requirements
Write 500600 words, five paragraph minimum
