BIO101 PACE Lab LH Evolution Data Black & Tan Environment

Attached is the data we collected today. I know I went through the tips for writing the report quickly because of the time constraints so here is a quick recap and some other things you need to know (most of this is in chapter 14 of the manual and there is also a rubric in Canvas and the manual).
-Titles. I need a title for the paper and the graphs. Make sure to include things like the overall idea of the lab and how we “examine?” the process.
– Make sure there is an Introduction, Methods, Results, Discussion, and References section.
– Make sure there are 2 graphs in the results and a description of what is going on in the results. Do NOT interpret the data in the Results section, that is what the Discussion section is for.
– References. When writing a report you need to backup what you are saying with other peer reviewed articles or books. You need at least 3 citations and may use your manual if you would like for one. DO NOT USE WIKIPEDIA. They are not credible. Go to google scholar and you will find something useful and credible. There are all kinds of great articles to choose from on google scholar by just typing in any one of the topics we covered in class. When citing in text you need to make the statement and follow it with “(Authors last name, year published?” so that it refers to the full citation at the end of the paper formatted in APA style. For example;
The class Arachnida contains eleven orders, not just Aranea (spiders), including Acari (ticks and mites), Opiliones (harvestmen), Scorpiones (scorpions), and Amblypygi (whip-scorpions) (Coddington et.al., 2004).

– There is no word or page minimum. When you think you have covered everything well enough, hand it in.
– Upload the final report into Canvas as “.do?”. I have set up the assignment so that it will not accept anything else.
-The report is due at 1:30PM Wednesday the 17th.
