You must respond to the two (2) questions below in essay form. Your response should be detailed and use specific material from all parts of our class to support your answer.
A typical response is usually at least 4-5 full pages PER QUESTION, double-spaced (1000 words and a normal times new roman 12-point font with regular margins), but you may have a longer answer. A paper shorter than 3 full pages needs to be very, very good to get a passing grade.
Again…Be sure to use specific examples when answering the essay questions.
BOTH QUESTIONS MUST BE ANSWERED.
From independence to the early 1830s, how did we become a nation with a stable nation, political system, economy, and national culture? What challenges did we face? By the1830s, was the nation working or was it failing? Please explain and support your answer.
Was the Civil War inevitable? Were the North and the South doomed to eventually battle each other over the slavery issue? Be specific in your answer and use examples.
