Integumentary system.
Discuss the function(s) of your system and include the roles that the organs of the system play in that function. (1-2 paragraphs) Some systems are organ heavy, some aren’t – please see me if you have a question about the depth of information for this section for your system.Correlate Structure and Function (3-6 paragraphs) A. Describe three tissues found in your system and correlate how those tissues contribute to the stated function of your system. B. Choose an organ (or two) in your system and describe how the gross anatomical structure and location correlate with the system’s structure and function. C. Describe how your system’s anatomy make it ideal for maintaining homeostasis in the body.
IV. Interaction with the nervous system. (1-3 paragraphs) The nervous system interacts with every organ system. Describe the interaction between the nervous system and the selected system.
V. Correlate your system with five necessary life functions (2-5 paragraphs) 10 necessary life functions are [ responsiveness, conductivity, growth, respiration, digestion, absorption, secretion, excretion, circulation, reproduction]. Pick five of them and describe in as much detail as possible how your chosen system helps with the performance of that particular function.
you can write your paper in the order that seems most natural to you, but it should clearly cover all of the points above. Headings for different sections are recommended because it makes the paper much easier to follow and much easier to make sure that you are covering all the points required.
