Read the article Technology in the Classroom and WIDA Essential Actions Handbook p.11 (Figure E).
The WIDA FOCUS ON bulletin ties to WIDA Standards. WIDA Standards exist to promote equity for ELLs by providing a way to bridge the gap between the classroom and the “real world.” Technology is a valuable resource in the classroom. It allows students to find a connection between the classroom and their lives outside of school. In addition, it also allows ELLs (English Language Learners) a way to participate without such a large language barrier.
