Review federal and state laws.
Review compliance requirements for the industry involved.
Review public health policies or initiatives that target the problematic behavior either directly or tangentially.
Review other government policies.
Write a minimum of a 1.5-page summary of your findings. Your summary should address the following:
What laws, policies, industry compliance requirements, public health programs, or another thing could have prevented this incident?
What new laws, policies, industry compliance requirements, and public health programs have been adopted because of this incident?
What are at least 3 laws, policies, industry compliance requirements, or public health programs that are, in your opinion, still lacking to prevent a similar incident from occurring? Describe what you would recommend in one or two sentences.
