CNET is a great website for technology news and reviews

For this discussion, you’ll first navigate to CNETLinks to an external site. to learn a little more about the tech world.
CNET is a great website for technology news and review. Their About UsLinks to an external site. page states, “CNET tells you what’s new in tech, culture and science, why it matters, how it works and what you need. Our global team works 24/7 to explore and explain the changing world around us. You can depend on CNET for news, commentary, analysis, features, FAQs, advice, hands-on reviews, buying guides, amazing photography and fun and informative videos.”
Microsoft PowerPoint is an application software used to create presentations. The presentations, slide shows, are made up of slides with text and pictures. We will be using PowerPoint to create a slide slow for this and other assignments in the course.
The presentation must follow the 10-20-30 rules and include meaningful animation and appropriate sound. You are required to follow Guy Kawasaki’s 10 20 30 rules. So, you should have no more than 10 slides, you should not talk for more than 20 minutes and you should not use a font size that is less than 30 points. Limit text as much as possible. The 20-minute rule is for real life presentations. These presentations may be much shorter and need not be narrated. Final project presentations for the class in December will be limited to 20 minutes and should fill that time. The research paper presentation should be a PowerPoint presentation about your research paper, no more than 10 slides. Include your evaluation matrix on one slide
Look Guy up and research his background. Check out his web page. He explains the rule nicely in this short video:

Read at least one article or view a video about hardware (not software) as discussed in Chapter 3 of our eBook. The article must be from the CNET webpage.
Create PowerPoint presentation that summarizes the article in your own words.
Post this summary to the Hardware Assignment discussion board. Cite your source properly on the last slide.
Read at least one other student’s summary on hardware and provide a peer review.
A peer review is an evaluation of another student’s academic work. This could include but is not limited to taking a stand on the topic and providing evidence for/against it; providing additional information on the other student’s topic; posing questions about the topic and possible answers; demonstrating your understanding or application of the topic with examples.
You may need to cite a source in your reply. Remember that if the information does not come out of your own head, you need to cite it
