At least 7 researched sources, four of which MUST be scholarly or substantive news sources (articles from MCCC databases, e-books from MCCC, books found through the library, reputable news websites like NYTimes.com or any .edu or .gov websites). The final three sources can be anything you choose, but should still be reliable and trustworthy. For the non-scholarly sources, you are free to use things other than printed textsfor example, you may use film, podcasts, newscasts, art, and you may even conduct your own interviews or surveys if you wish. These sources must be used extensively in the paper to report the information you researched as well as to support your argument.

Cite all sources parenthetically as well, including summaries and paraphrases of information. All sources on the Works Cited page must be used and cited within the paper; all sources in the paper must be listed on the Works Cited page.
