SUBJECT: Negotiation Memo
1. Im considered a subject matter expert on matters within the primary care clinic and many process improvement initiatives, rendering best practices. Those initiatives and best practices were a source of imitation throughout many military medical facilities. Ive received exemplary evaluations in clinical workflow, business operations, patient care systems, analyzing access to care trends, provider templates and schedules, and optimization of access to care. My last command considered me a valuable and knowledgeable asset for any organization or company to absorb. My informatics background and analytic talents make me a tremendous resource to improve processes and quality within any organization. Ive consistently exceeded Army Medical Home measures of effectiveness such as Healthcare Effectiveness Data and lnformation Set (HEDIS), Access to Care (ATC) and Joint Outpatient Experience Survey (JOES) scores. Over the past six years, I have ensured compliance with accreditation and level 3 NCQA certification, the highest level achievable for a Medical Home. I remained in the top 5% of my peers prior to retirement.
Secondly, I have a superior understanding of market trends and instincts for identifying and developing standardized business process. Not only do I provide stellar leadership and display the Department of Defense (DOD) core values, but Im an excellent communicator. I established several new business processes and streamlined Clinical Operations for multiple Medical Homes. Ive developed Business Case Analysis and added new technologies such as a patient queuing system and VOCERA that optimized the patient experience. I possess a very strong grasp of technology, medicine and business that will be in high demand with the upcoming transition from the current electronic health system ALTHA to MHS GENESIS. I possess the knowledge you require to insure a smooth transition for the Army Medical Home and its patients.
In closing, I’d like to restate my strong desire for the role of the Practice Manager/Administrator at the Lyster Army Health Clinic. I’m confident that I will surpass your expectations in this new role. Im self-driven, self-confident, proactively helpful, very intelligent, and confident that I will succeed in the Practice Management role.
