I currently serve as the lead teacher in our building and also as a member of the school leadership team / committee. The leadership team, the principal, and some corporation administrators jointly come up with and write our school improvement plan. The action plan is typically created by the principal and other administrators. The results of my action research plan will be shared with teachers through a staff meeting and then discussed further among grade levels in PLC planning time. Notes from each grade level meeting will be sent back to the principal and those concerns will play a part in the writing of the next set of goals and action plan. There is also always the possibility that the data will have to be shared among the four other elementary schools in the district as well as with the school board.
