Preparing Your Paper
The following are best practices for preparing this paper:
1. When introducing the change management paper, be sure to identify the purpose of the paper and the need to consider potential benefits of change management to address threats to health equity in public health.
2. When describing the means by which structural bias, social inequities and racism undermine health and create challenges to achieve health equity at micro (population/community), meso (public health/organizational), and macro (regulatory/societal) levels, be sure to identify appropriate background information (who, what, where, when, and why) as applies to each threat to health equity.
3. When describing the selected change management theory, be sure to properly cite the author and source of the theory as well as your rationale for the selected theoretical approach and each step of the selected theoretical model.
4. 4. When presenting the structure, process (function), and expected outcomes of selected change strategies to achieve health equity from a systems perspective (micro, meso, macro), be sure to include a systems thinking tool of your choosing to address each system level.
5. When reflecting on the selected change management recommendations, be certain to address relevant elements of evaluation and sustainability.
