You must submit an 8-12 page research paper on the Influence of the Sarbanes-Oxley Act on the auditing profession. You must submit a quality academic research paper discussing your findings. You are expected to use electronic means available online and through the TAMUC library to research this issue. You will submit the paper properly formatted using the APA format. This paper must demonstrate a mastery of basic writing mechanics. The paper must be clear, concise, organized and persuasive and supported with applicable academic references.
Suggestions: I would start my paper by documenting the events that led up to the scandals of the early 2000�s. The auditing profession was very well developed before the events that led to the Sarbanes-Oxley Act; however, these events caused many changes to the auditing profession. You might want to contrast the profession before the Act with the changed profession after the act (just a suggestion). The paper is your own creation and you will be graded on the presentation that you make in your paper. Include a cover page (does not count in the page total) with the following information:
