This week, the 2nd draft of Paper #1 is due, and I want you to re-work your Informal Outline 1st draft and make it better than the 1st draft in order for me to review and edit. As you should know, this will eventually be a writing assignment of 4-6 pages, but for this week I only want to see a new and improved version of your Informal Outline 1st draft; in other words, you will prepare only a new and improved, well-planned 2-page maximum Informal Outline with a Works Cited page–please do not write a full paper yet for this assignment.
Since your 1st draft was peer edited and reviewed by 2 of your fellow classmates (or by the Writing Center), this will be my opportunity to directly help you with your assignment. I will edit, make suggestions and positive comments, and give you instructional advice on how to make this paper better. To receive full credit, you must turn in your outline draft on time, and you must follow the expected MLA format rules (double space, Times New Roman, 12 point, Align Left, Full heading, header on the top right side of every page, and a Works Cited page).
I will review them over the weekend and give you both general and specific comments to guide you in preparation for the Final Draft due next week. One last reminder–please send this to Canvas.
You have a few days to do this assignment, so please do write and turn in your Informal Outline early, and kindly be patient for I will have very likely over 40 papers to review over the weekend. Please do not wait until the last minute to turn it in–it is to your benefit to be punctual and sincere in your effort throughout our Fall semester together. Points will be reduced for any non-compliance with my above-mentioned instructions.
